To support, promote and broaden cultural activities within the local community as the fundraising organization for the Newport Beach Arts Commission.
Welcome to Newport Beach Arts Foundation

The Newport Beach Arts Foundation is a non-profit corporation that acts as the fund-raising arm of the city-appointed Newport Beach Arts Commission. The Arts Commission and the Newport Beach Arts Foundation are dedicated to providing the residents and visitors of Newport Beach with free performance events in music, theatre, dance and visual arts. Additionally, we have contributed to works of public arts such as McFadden Square Centennial Project and the Marine 1/1 Memorial at Castaways Park, and Sculpture in the Civic Center Park.
  Objectives of the NBAF:
  • Promote the importance of the arts in the community life of the City of Newport Beach.
  • Involve businesses, private donors, and volunteers in the support of public arts and cultural events.
  • Support the Arts Commission in its collaborative efforts with the Newport Beach City Council.
  • Host events in the arts such as “Nights at the Gallery”, museum and private studio visits, and special art lectures for the members of Newport Beach Arts Foundation, the Newport Beach Arts Commission and the community.

The Newport Beach Arts Foundation purchased Sphere 112 by Ivan McLean as a gift for the City of Newport Beach. It was accepted by the Newport Beach City Council on February 14, 2017. It is located on the North side of San Miguel, in the Newport Beach Civic Center Park. SPHERE 112 was voted the favorite sculpture at the Inaugural Sculpture Ceremony, September 2014.

Phase III of Sculpture Exhibition in the Civic Center Park is in the final stages of the selection process.  Nine new sculptures will be selected to install in the Newport Beach Civic Center Park, where they will remain for two years.  The Phase III Opening Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, October 28.

Thank you for you continued support of the Newport Beach Arts Foundation. We hope you can join us.
